Bertelsmann SE & Co, the German multinational mass media corporation, which is the promoter group of publishing major Penguin Random House, has invested Rs 30 crore in iNurture Education Solutions.
iNurture bridges the gap between industry and academia, offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fast-growing new-age sectors, that make students industry-ready. iNurture offers these courses in association with some of the leading universities, autonomous institutions and colleges across India in a unique University Industry Partnership (UIP) model. The verticals in which iNurture offers their courses are Cloud Technology, Information Security, Mobile Applications, IT Infrastructure, Creative Industries (Advertising, Branding, Media, Entertainment & Internet), Business Analytics, Financial Services, Animation & Visual Effects and Graphic Design.
The investment in iNurture was routed through Bertelsmann India Investments (BII), the investment arm of the 17-billion-euro Bertelsmann group. BII’s portfolio of Indian investments include e-tailer Pepperfry.com, real-estate portal Indiaproperty.com, as well as Authorgen Technologies and its online education platform Wiziq.com.
