Programme Overview:

Rapid Globalisation with continuous technological improvements, especially in the last thirty years, has caused a tremendous flow of goods, services, labour and capital from neighbouring and far-off countries alike. Global trade has gained importance, foreign direct investment has grown, and competitive pressure on many industries and firms has intensified. Challenges for internationally operating companies are much amplified, with their control and management becoming vital.
Hence, D.Y. Patil Deemed To Be University School of Management, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai (DYPUSM) designed the BBA International Business programme to help students understand the transformation of a firm into a global organisation. Students will learn to apply management theories and techniques that will help them understand the operational concepts of the multinational business environment.

Program Details

Programme Objective:

  • Prepare graduates who can identify business opportunities and trends in global markets for sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Prepare professionals who can understand the role and practice of marketing in an organization and ways to integrate with other functions to build synergy and profitability.
  • Prepare graduates competent for the current digital era and beyond; who can effectively implement digital marketing strategies in the dynamic and global business environment and analyse the outcomes in a more structured manner.
  • Prepare professionals who will study and analyse marketing problems and issues in the marketplace and plan solutions through efficiency-driven and quality-oriented distribution and communication channels.
  • Prepare graduates who understand business ethics and the importance of developing and adhering to a set of strong, generally accepted ethical principles.
