Programme Overview:

Information Security and Cyber Forensics is an intriguing and booming area of study in the current Infodemic era and focuses on the integrity of digital information. Cyber Forensics deals with the study involving technologies, policies, procedures and processes, frameworks, regulatory bodies, cyber laws etc. designed to identify, seize, acquire, authenticate, analyse the documents and preserve the digital data which acts as the evidence in a number of cyber-related crimes, damage or threats on digital devices.

With the specialised BCA Information Security and Cyber Forensics programme, Kalinga University, Raipur, aims to prepare students for scaling up new competitive opportunities in the field of digital investigation, information security and other allied disciplines.

Programme Objectives:

  • Prepare leading professionals globally in government, academia, and corporate having entrepreneurial pursuits.
  • Prepare graduates equipped with technical and analytical skills to develop innovative solutions in the field of Computer Applications, especially Cyber Forensics and Information Security.
  • Prepare graduates with high learnability and adaptability to the constantly changing technological environment.
  • Prepare graduates to lead and ethically initiate the professional and organizational goals in an interdisciplinary team and obtain desired results.
