B.Sc. Computer Technology (Blockchain and Distributed Computing)

Distributed computing, in a way, forms the backbone of Blockchain technology. In simple words, Distributed Computing is a network of various computers operating together as a single system. The computers can be physically connected, thus forming a local network, or be geographically dispersed but connected online. Blockchain uses this concept to store records of transactions (known as “blocks”) in several databases (known as “chains”) in a network connected through peer-to-peer nodes.

The new age B.Sc. Computer Technology (Blockchain and Distributed Computing) offered by Rathinam College of Arts and Science is thus specially designed to prepare students with theoretical foundations and practical skills in Cryptocurrency development, Healthcare Applications, Cryptography, Capital Markets, etc.
