Workshop on Cloud Technology at Jain University

A workshop on Cloud Technology was recently conducted for the BCA students of Jain University, Bangalore between 14th and 15th October 2014. The participant students were welcomed and addressed by Prof. Achutha Vasudevamurthy, Head – Information Technology Dept. at Jain University. On both the days, the first half of the session was handled by Sankarsan Biswas, Sr. Mentor – Information Technology Management Services, iNurture Education Solutions. After the lunch break, the students were provided with opportunity to have access to virtual data centre with two virtual machines. The students were allowed to build the machine to provide them with a real feeling of Cloud Technology. The last item in the agenda was quiz. Toppers have been identified and will be rewarded soon.

The sessions were attended by BCA students of Jain University, including the foreign nationals among them.
