Knowledge Series off to a flying start at Jain University

The inaugural session of iNurture Knowledge Series, cutting edge skill enhancement sessions and workshops by industry experts, kicked-off amid much anticipation and excitement as students and faculties from different verticals gathered to listen to the speaker of the day, Ashok B. , Academic Head & Mentor – IT & Mob Apps at iNurture (Ex – CEO, WEP Solutions India limited, Ex – Sr. VP, Cisco Systems), at Jain University, Bangalore. The topic for the session was ‘Cloud Technologies – The Future of Enterprise Computing’, which is currently one of the fastest growing and highly rewarding sectors within the information technology industry.

Ashok took the audience through the fascinating world of ‘cloud technologies’ with his spell binding presentation and hand-picked videos from the relevant archives. The AV on ‘Inside Google data center’ was perhaps the most captivating part of the presentation. Apart from giving a clear understanding on the subject and answering to their queries, Ashok also helped students with their enquires about the career options / entry level jobs available in this lucrative domain and the essential skill-sets required to tap them.

This was the first of many sessions / workshops, that will be conducted on advanced topics such as Animation & Visual Effects, IT Infrastructure Management, Information Security, Storage & Cloud Technology, Creative Management (Branding & Ideation) and Financial Services, throughout the year in our different partner campuses and other institutions across India. The objective of ‘iNurture Knowledge Series’ sessions is to expose students to the cutting edge and fast growing industry sectors and the career opportunities that they present, directly from industry stalwarts.
