INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP ON ANIMATION FOR PU STUDENTS AT KLE SOCIETY’S S. NIJALINGAPPA COLLEGE, BANGALORE -21st December, 2013

After a series of exciting workshops in different educational institutions, it was the time for the PU students of Bangalore’s KLE Society’s S. Nijalingappa College to experience a session of ‘iNuture Knowledge Series’ at their campus. This time around the topic for discussion was ‘Animation & Visual Effects’. Rameshchandra, Academic Head – Animation at iNurture shared his vast experience on this domain with the students during the session. He took the audience into the fascinating world of Animation with his spell-binding presentation and hand-picked videos from the relevant archives. Rameshchandra highlighted the awards won by iNurture ToonSkool Animation Academy students, during various prestigious film festivals, students’ work displayed in the movie “The Life of Pi” and showcasing students’ skills in film making. Relevant job opportunities in these domains and suitable courses which can help them to kick start their careers in these industries was another area of focus during the presentation. The need for full time Bachelors Degree programmes in Animation which is the current Industry trend was also highlighted by Rameshchandra. Students were eager to know about Animation and participated with a lot of enthusiasm.
