NATIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUMMIT 2013 – 27th November, 2013 New Delhi

Engineering watch, India’s leading magazine for engineering community, in association with iNurture Education Solutions organized National Employability Summit on 27th November, 2013 at Constitution Club of India, Rafi Marg, New Delhi.

It was a unique opportunity to learn more about the unexplored career opportunities available for engineering graduates in Public Sector, R&D, Defense, MSME and Corporate. Industry stalwarts from different sectors along with participants from 73 colleges and universities were present at the venue. We were fortunate enough to have a wide range of esteemed speakers and participants from different areas of industry and academia. During the conference, Captain R.K Yadav, Director (Manpower Planning & Recruitment), spoke on the employability opportunities available in the Defence sector.  He also shed light on the need of cyber experts in the ranks of Defense sector. Dr. S. S. Mantha, Chairman-AICTE, talked about the up-gradation required in the curriculum and the need for more of new-age industry-ready courses on emerging technologies in colleges & universities.  Ashok B, Academic head – Information Technology at iNurture addressed the audience during the session on employability opportunities available in the emerging technology sectors. On this occasion, Shri. S. N. Tripathi, JS, Ministry of MSME; Dr. S. S. Mantha, Chairman-AICTE; Prof. (Dr.) Dewakar Goel, GM (HR)- AAI; Prof. Y. V. Gopala Krishna Murthy and Shri. V.K Singh, Dy. General Manager – Power Grid Corporation of India Limited jointly launched the iNurture corporate brochure.

The summit was not meant to be a single event, but part of a continuous effort from iNurture Education Solutions in enhancing the employability of students as per the industry standard. iNurture Education Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is the pioneer in career integrated formal higher education in India.
