India, the second most populous and one of the most youngest countries in the world, has its own set of challenges in both education and employability domains. Though there have been many EdTech start-ups in the recent past which have been working towards reducing the skill and knowledge gap between what industry wants and what academia can offer, experts still feel that more time is required before the gap can be filled.

Speaking in this regard Mr. Ashwin Ajila, Co-Founder and MD of iNurture Education Solutions says; “It took us five years to convince the first university to come onboard with our model. Unlike startups in other domain, EdTech is not an easy entry-exit model. Everyone knows that there is a demand and a clear employability issue, what we truly need to understand is that the investment is for a long haul. It took us six years to turn profitable, but we did it.”
